What we collect
When you use a form on this site — donation, volunteer, in-kind giving or contact — we store the details you enter, such as your name, phone number, email, locality, PAN (only where you provide it for an 80G receipt) and your message.
IP addresses and basic analytics
We record basic usage events — page views and clicks on Call, WhatsApp, Contact and Donate — along with your IP address and browser user-agent. Your IP address is personal data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023. We collect it only to prevent abuse of our forms and to understand which pages help people reach us. We do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising profiles, and we do not retain it longer than needed for these purposes.
How we use your details
To respond to you, arrange a pickup or rescue, issue 80G tax receipts, and keep the statutory records a charitable trust must keep. Donation records and receipts are retained as long as Indian tax law requires.
Your choices
You can donate anonymously — your name will not be shown publicly, though PAN is still needed to issue an 80G receipt. You may ask us to correct or delete your details at any time, except where we are legally required to retain them.
